54-40
54-40
54•40 is Neil Osborne, Brad Merritt, Matt Johnson & Dave Genn. Inspired by the punk/new music scene of Vancouver, BC, 54•40 first performed at the dawn of 1981. After 30 years, 16 releases and more than 2000 performances, the secret to 54•40′s longevity is their ability to redefine and reinvent themselves – taking long-time 54•40 fans on a thrill ride, and continually picking up new young fans along the way. 54•40 has an unbelievable catalogue of hit songs that they can pull from to include in their live performances. Songs such as Baby Ran, She La, Casual Viewin', One Gun, Ocean Pearl, Love You All, Music Man, I Go Blind, One Day In Your Life, Assoholic, Radio Luv Song, Baby Have Some Faith, Miss You, Blame Your Parents, Easy to Love, Crossing a Canyon, Since When, Nice to Luv You, and Lies to Me.
Kasador
Kasador
For the past three years, Kasador (Will Hunter, Cam Wyatt, Boris Baker, Nick Babcock, Angus Fay) have been bringing their blend of Canadian indie rock to cities across Ontario and Quebec. Birthed from the acoustic styling of frontman Will Hunter, the group has evolved into an electric entity that has crowds closing the gap to the monitors wherever they go. With a sound built around powerful choruses, the band keeps audiences swaying and singing from the first chord to the last.

This energetic stage show has captured the attention of fans and promoters alike, and has placed Kasador on bills with such Canadian greats as Walk Off The Earth, Lights, Arkells, July Talk, Wintersleep, U.S.S, Current Swell and Sam Roberts Band.

In January 2016, Kasador released the first single off their newest release called 'Neighbourhood', a song that demonstrates the bands new tightened sound. The song gained strong feedback such as:
'It's a moody but upbeat track, delivering sleek synths, funked-out bass lines and chatchy hooks, combining the best elements of retro genres like funk and disco to create a fresh sound.' (EXCLAIM!)
'Their intelligent prose and harmonic chorus swells would make for an incredible night at a small venue like the one shown in their video. But the clever dashes of funk, innovative electro interludes and incredible sense of style surely push them over into the top tier." (Indie Trendsetters).

Kasador spent summer 2016 on the road, playing shows across Ontario and taking the jump that many Canadian bands fear; playing in the USA. The band spent their Canada Day in Brooklyn New York with Wintersleep and Whitehorse. The success of the show has led the band to turn their attention south of the border, prepping for a more extensive USA tour winter 2017.

On September 13th, Kasador released their much anticipated self-titled debut EP. Recorded at The Tragically Hip’s studio (The Bathouse) in Bath Ontario with Engineer/Producer Nyles Spencer (Half Moon Run, The Tragically Hip, Arkells, The Trews), and was mixed by Juno award winning engineer Dan Brodbeck (The Cranberries, Ivory Hours) and mastered by Noah Mitz (Arkells, The Constantines, Broken Social Scene). The EP has had a strong reception, with radio play from The Edge (Toronto), CBC Radio 1 and The Drive (Kingston) with their songs 'Neighbourhood' and 'Talk About It'.
